Grow Your Skills

We have a training bursary pot, to fund up to 60 places on courses from across the consortium, leveraging existing accredited courses and promoting access. This includes but is not limited to: programming (such as Python and C++), foundations of AI, reinforcement learning, AI for biomedicine and healthcare, machine learning and deep learning modules (all ARC & CS, UCL); programmes on how AMR research could be translated to patents/products (UCL CS & AI centre); Digital Health for Infectious Diseases and a 4-day tailored course in Digital Health and Entrepreneurship (UCL Global Business School for Health). The latter will include topics such as executive education, start-ups, embedding digital health, strategic leadership, business cases, stakeholder partnerships, barriers of uptake of digital tech, ethical commercialisation, and ideation. We will be promoting new AMR educational programmes for healthcare professionals and training modules for the public by existing organisations, such as charities.
